  1. Town of Platteville Photo Contest

    October 1, 2019 - November 15, 2019

    Categories: People and Events, Buildings and Land, Nature and Beauty. The rules: Entries must be original photographs, must be 400 dpi or higher and in jpg or png format. Entries must be submitted via email only to mlee@plattevillegov.org and should include the full name of the photographer, title of the photo and in which category the photo is being submitted. If the photo is too large to email, it can be delivered in person to Town Hall on a thumb drive for entry. Entries must be submitted between 10/1/19-11/15/19. The Town will select the top 3 entries in each category by 12/31. Prizes & recognition will be awarded at the Town Board meeting on 1/21/20. Winners will be notified via the email used to submit the photograph. All photos submitted can and will be used by the Town for marketing & promotional purposes with no further compensation to the original photographer.

    Join us for a blood drive and vote for the local Police Department or the Fire Department while saving lives. The winner with the most votes will win a pizza party, hosted by the Platteville Library. Every donation has the power to impact up to 2 lives in just one hour, making every donor a hometown hero. Appointments are suggested. Walk-in are always welcome. Go to donors.vitalant.org and use blood drive code 10048 to schedule your appointment. Refreshments and snacks will be provided by Vitalant following your donation. We will be taking donation in the "Teen Space" of the Library.
