Watering Restrictions

Watering restrictions are year round. Addresses ending with even numbers will water on even numbered days and addresses ending with odd numbers will water on odd days. If there are 31 days in the month addresses ending with even numbers will water in the am and addresses ending with odd numbers will water in the pm.

 

Trash Pickup

Mondays Pickup: Old Homestead Subdivision, Rogers Farm Subdivision, Reeds Subdivision, Garden Court Subdivision, and Sholdt Drive.

Fridays Pickup: All other addresses not listed on Mondays Pickup

The Town of Platteville has a contract with B & C Refuse for the town wide trash service.

 

Animal Requirements

Dogs: All dogs 6 months of age or older, within the Platteville town limits, are required a Town of Platteville dog license. To obtain the license, bring proof of the rabies vaccination and/or alteration to the Platteville Town Hall. Spayed or neutered dogs license fee is $15.00 each per year, all others are $25.00 each per year. Dog licenses expire December 31st of every year. Residents are required to purchase a dog licence by March 31st of each year. New residents have 30 days to comply.

Cats: The owner or keeper of any cat 4 months of age or older shall have such cat vaccinated against rabies. It shall be vaccinated within 30 days of acquisition or within 30 days after the cat reaches 4 months of age.

 

No Visit List

The Town of Platteville requires all solicitors, peddlers and canvassers to have a copy of the "No Visit List" among other requirements. Contact the Town of Platteville to be placed on this list to stop solicitors, peddlers and canvassers from visiting your resident.
